Cristiano Ronaldo returned to the starting XI after missing the Manchester Derby due to an injury. His fellow Portuguese, Bruno Fernandes, missed this match due to an injury. Paul Pogba played a more advanced role.
The average position of Manchester United players was a lot closer to each other in the middle third. Fred and Matic were guarding the two centre-backs in the match.
